Alejandro Sierra has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Trumpet performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has over ten years’ experience teaching music to children and adults of various ages. From 2006 to 2008, he taught trumpet performance at ENA National School of the Arts (Havana, Cuba), as well as at the Automous University of Querétaro (Mexico) from 2011 to 2015. Mr. Sierra is a professional trumpet player who is well versed in a variety of styles, as well as in piano and percussion. He has performed with many bands and ensembles, including Picadillo Band (2017 to present), Aymee Nuviola Band, Peter Fernandez Band, and Team de la Habana. Mr. Sierra has been on the faculty of Conchita Espinosa Conservatory of the Arts since 2018.
